Very Important Info Related To Why Breast Milk Is Certainly Ideal For Little Ones

By Miriam Ucci

More and more mothers are agreeing to the fact that breastfeeding is better than bottlefeeding. Unfortunately, not all mothers are actually practicing the former. Every mother and father should understand that breastfeeding is good not only for the baby but for everyone else as well.

First of all, breastmilk meets the baby's every needs when it comes to nutrition, growth and strengthening of the immune system. Colostrum or the initial flow of milk from the mother's breast is essential for the baby's immune system development. Breastmilk is also complete with all the nutrients, enzymes, proteins and other elements that help in the development of the brain.

For babies, breastfeeding is primarily important because the activity helps them develop their coordination skills. The nutrients they get also promote to the development of their language skills. Breastfeeding is also one of the best times for the mom and her child to bond together.

Just like babies, mothers too can get a lot of health benefits from breastfeeding. Oxytocin that is released in the mother's body during the initial breastfeeding helps the uterus return into its original state. It also prevents hemorrhage. Aside from that, the risk for breast cancer and heart disease is also reduced through breastfeeding.

Fathers too can get something from breastfeeding. Babies who are breastfeed grow into healthy children. This means fathers won't need to spend too much money on healthcare since their kids do not get sick often. Fathers will also appreciate breastfeeding because it will save them time from washing milk bottles and preparing food for baby.

Due to the fact that breastfed babies tend to have little chances of being hospitalized, households can generate more savings. The national budget is also positively affected by that fact. Also, since breastfeeding is all natural, the risk for chemical waste polluting the environment is reduced. That brings us to the conclusion that breastfeeding and breastmilk are perfectly good not only to the family but to the economy and the environment in general.
