Learn How To Make Your Hair Tough And Also Attractive

By Susan Smart

The hair is probably one of the greatest assets of both men and women. A beautiful hair simply adds to your countenance and can make you beautiful in an instant especially if you know how to choose the hairstyle that fits you. You can maintain a beautiful and healthy hair by knowing what and what not do with it.

Stay away from your hair's number 1 enemy - the sun. Your hair protects your scalp from the weather, thus, it is your hair that is directly affected by harmful ultraviolet rays. Always use an umbrella when going outside to prevent your hair from getting damaged by the sun. If an umbrella is not available, a large hat or cap will do.

Wash your hair regularly to maintain its strength and smoothness. Don't just use any product that you can get your hands on. Always check the label and see whether the shampoo or conditioner contains chemicals that can potentially harm your hair. It's also okay to leave your hair unwashed. It promotes oil production, making your hair look shinier.

To preserve a healthy hair and scalp, make sure you are getting essential vitamins and nutrients from your diet. You must understand that there are foods that contain nutrients that help keep the hair and scalp healthy. Antioxidant-rich foods like oyster, salmon and tomatoes help prevent premature aging of the hair and scalp.

Watch your hair habits carefully. Some of the things you do that you think are good for your hair are actually not. These include blow-drying every day, bleaching regularly and changing the color of your hair almost every month. Doing these regularly will eventually damage your hair and make it impossible to return to normal.

It would be better if you don't do anything to your hair and leave it as it is - all natural. Because once your hair gets damaged due to constant exposure to UV rays and harmful chemicals from hair products, it will have a 50-50 chance of being repaired. The best possible thing to do is to cut it off and start all over again.
