Are You Harming Your Cat Without Even Knowing It?

By Mr. John Sommer, PhD.

We can help but love our pets and they're quickly becoming part of our lives. We would never want to hurt them but sometimes we're doing things or not doing things that will actually have a negative effect on their health and physical condition.

One of the points were a lot of pet owners are neglecting their pets are in terms of their food. Getting the right foods with the right amount of nutrition is vital to keeping an optimal health condition and to avoid getting some of the more life threatening illnesses that are becoming more and more common these days.

Both humans and pets need good foods to stay healthy and without it you will see some negative results within very few years. There are lost of solutions but it can be difficult to know what the right one will be when you're presented with so many options. One way to find an answers is to consult your VET.

One of the main problems and probably also the reasons for so many people feeding their pets poor nutritional food is that high quality food is quite costly and a lot of pet owners can't (or won't) afford it. Because of this their pets will suffer the consequences.

But however you twist and turn it the outcome will still be the same. Malnutrition will lead to poor health, more illnesses and will result in our pets living a mediocre life. With a poor immune system viruses will sneak in on them and you'll find them becoming ill more often as time goes by.

Poor food will also result in poor level of energy and excitement. It will also greatly increase the likelihood of incidents where your pet might get injured. Breaking some of its bones or getting hit by traffic are just some of the things that are more likely to happen.

And not only will the likelihood of accidents increase you will also find that it'll take longer for their bodies to recover because it doesn't have the building blocks that it needs for optimum recovery.

In case you don't want to or don't have the financial ability to pay for the highly priced pet food that your pet would need then you might want to thing about signing your pet up for a low cost insurance plan. There are several great ones out there but you must know where to look to find them
