The Real Truth Surrounding Electronic Cigarette Lies And Big Business Agendas

By Mary Kay Rivers

It can be hard to separate fact from myth when considering electronic cigarette products. This popular new product is not a smoking cessation program. E-cigarettes are designed as an alternative smoking experience that provides a nicotine delivery system in a safer, healthier manner.

The vapor inhaled is not the same as smoke but delivers the nicotine the smoker craves along with a flavor he chooses. When he takes a puff the LED tip at the tip of his e-cigarette brightens just like the burning tip of the tobacco product.

A starter kit is the logical place to start your e-smoking experience. The kit includes two battery sections and a mouthpiece (atomizer) as well as a battery charger. One battery can be on the charge with the other in use to provide uninterrupted use of the e-cigarette.

At the end opposite the battery component there is a mouthpiece which contain the atomizer that produces the vapor. This may be refillable and require removal of a tiny sponge and dripping e-solution onto it from a small bottle or may have wet replacement sponges to unwrap and add to the mouthpiece. The best e-cigarette uses a pre-filled cartridge that replaces the atomizer each time you screw on a new refill cartridge.

The sale of e-cigarettes in the U.S. is legal. Lies spread by big tobacco and big pharma have questioned the legality in an attempt to stop this new competitor. A few other countries have banned the sale of e-cigs until they are studied and proven to be a safe alternative to tobacco. Some U.S. tobacco stores sell the best e-cigarette brands and a wide variety of styles and brands are available online from reputable manufacturers.

It is strange to find tobacco manufacturers and non-smoking groups on the same side of an argument yet that is the case when it comes to electronic cigarettes. The truth about the electronic cigarette is that non-smoking organizations do not approve any form of nicotine use and some governments are worried the loss of tobacco tax revenue. As the facts become clear, the popularity of electronics will only continue to grow.

There have been lies and myths spread about the safety of e-cigarettes. With 20 ingredients, electronic cigarettes are clearly safer to use than inhaling the over 4000 chemicals produced by burning tobacco. The only chemical that makes you want a smoke is nicotine so why inhale thousands of chemicals and carcinogens you don't want or need? Vapor mist of the best e-cigarette does not coat your throat with tars and toxins.

The sale of e-cigarettes is legal in the U.S. though tobacco lobbyists have their best to ban the alternative products. Although studies are still under way there is no question that use of electronic smokes does not exposure users to the health risks of tobacco. It is easy to purchase and compare e-cigarettes online and increasingly the best brands are being sold in tobacco stores, too.

The truth about electronic cigarettes is that they threaten the status quo of big tobacco and big pharma. Governments at all levels fill their coffers with high tobacco taxes and non-smoking groups don't approve of anything except programs that help consumers stop smoking. In spite of the myth spread, the popularity of electronic cigarettes continues to skyrocket.
