Guidance About Piles Cure

By Don Sharpe

If you have piles, which are medically known as hemorrhoids, you may find yourself very embarrassed and uncomfortable. Piles are caused when there is strain put on the blood vessels around one's anus. It irritates these vessels and causes the tissue around them to form large bumps. A piles cure is the last thing anyone wants to think about, but it is far preferable to be a little embarrassed when going to the doctor than risk discomfort or other problems.

Any doctor will tell you that you have to cut out whatever it is that has given you piles in the first place. It will stop your current piles from being continually strained, which means you have a shot of actually curing them. It will also keep new piles from forming, and will probably have other beneficial effects on your life.

Make sure to eat plenty of fiber and to see a doctor if you are having problems. It will also help if you try not to sit all day and if you can manage your weight below the obesity level. The larger you are, the more stress is put on your body. It also has a relation to what you eat and the difficulty you have with bowel movements. Statistically, many larger people are large because they do not eat well. Poor food content leads to difficult movements and excess weight--the two of these things combining to make piles.

Go directly to your doctor before you do anything else. The doctor can check for other problems that piles may just be hiding. Rectal cancer is the worst of these. The doctor may also have some good advice for home treatments. One of these is to soak piles in warm water, via a hot bath. It will ease and loosen up the muscles around the area and give you relief. A similar treatment on the other end of the spectrum is to do cold compresses. This will also give you relief.

You will probably be told to buy an over the counter cream at a drug store. You will also be told to take aspirin for the worst of the pain. You might want to invest in a good cleanser for the area. It can make sure it does not get infected and can soothe the muscles and veins. Suppositories are excellent because they can rush treatment to the necessary area.

For more intensive, quick, and permanent removal, there are always surgical options. A very common treatment is something called rubber band ligation. It involves the doctor putting something akin to a rubber band around the piles which will cut off the blood supply. They will eventually 'die' and fall off.

It can also be cut off in an electrical process. Medicines can be injected into it to do damage to the vein and dry it up. It can be frozen off, like many dermatologists do with moles. It can also be surgically cut off, but this has been known to lead to problems later.

There are plenty of natural things you can do or eat to make them better. Do your research and ask your doctor. Beware of companies that sell 'cures', especially in pill form. Only take things that are approved and proven to work.
