Effects That Pollution And Toxins Have On High Blood Pressure

Anyone at or around the age of thirties will know what the health hazards of pollution are when not treated. The hazards may be heart attack, stroke, blindness, and all sorts of other scary health concerns.

The reason for writing this is High blood pressure can easily be treated.

We are all told things to avoid such as high sodium foods, processed foods, fast food, red meat, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine and tobacco.

All these food items contain some toxin substance in them that affect the health and can lead to high blood pressure. All the people should avoid these food.

It is very useful to people who are obese and they have more risks of high blood pressure. Blood pressure can be increased by sodium and caffeine but they are not toxic.

Many processed foods and fast foods contain high amounts of trans fats, sodium and cholesterol. Be wary of certain "diet" foods as they sometimes replace sugar with chemicals high in sodium and are oftentimes not lower in fat.

Red meat when not processed causes Hypertension. It is the toxins that the animal had consumed before.

Those who inhale and ingest Alcohol and nicotine/tobacco too much have lot of problems. Moderate alcohol intake is advisory and cigarette smoking is not too good. These are the elements that cause toxic effects.

Also in the toxins category are medications, both over the counter and prescription. These can raise blood pressure so it's extremely important to let your doctor know if you have any history of hypertension.

A research made on animals have confirmed that the exposure we make to day to day air pollutants can actually increase blood pressure. Pollution can increase blood pressure by 25%.
