Have you ever had a really terrible bout of hemorrhoids and been not able to get anything done? Some people find that their hemorrhoids can at times get so terrible that even making a visit to the doctors is a tremendous challenge. Needless to say, at times like these you would probably do practically anything to get your hands on some immediate relief, and right here and now you are going to learn the simplest and quickest way to do just that!
Basically, this will perform wonders for anybody who suffers from severe hemorrhoids and has trouble sitting and walking around. That means that the inflammation and pain are probably both so difficult that you are literally unable to function. Sure, if you have some type of pain relief now would be the right moment to use it -- but what if you do not ? Or worse: What if the pain relief that you have is not really all the effective?
Fortunately, there is a way to get some very fast, and very simple relief: Ice.
Considering how readily available ice is, you could probably just march over to your freezer right now and get some. If not, most grocery stores sell bags of chipped ice which is precisely what you need. Even if you do have your own ice, you are going to have to break it down to size yourself, so simply do whichever suits you best.
All that you need to do is take some chipped ice, and apply it on the area in question. Mind you, you are not trying to freeze yourself -- all that you want is for the cold to numb the area a little, while at the same time reducing the inflammation and helping it subside. Provided you do not overuse it (i.e. keeping yourself frozen), this procedure really does not have any notable side effects, and some people perform it once in the morning, and then as needed during the day.
Granted, it is not a permanent cure, but it will at least get you over for a little while.
If you need to, you can even insert the ice chips to get to the affected area. Be careful when you do though -- some ice chips can have sharp edges and the last thing you want to do is hurt yourself further!
Once you have applied the ice, you should be able to feel the results fairly fast. Within minutes, your hemorrhoids should feel a lot less inflamed, and the pain should be fairly numbed as well. All in all, you should be able to at least get some things done without having to do so through all that discomfiture.
Did you ever think that hemorrhoid relief could be this easy?
