Activities To Do In Order To Reduce Transfats In The Body

I bet you're familiar with the fact that there are bad cholesterols and there are also good cholesterol. To remain healthy our goal is to keep the good cholesterol and eliminate the bad cholesterol from our body. This is very crucial since too much bad cholesterol in the body can cause heart disease and stroke. So how do we exactly reduce bad cholesterol?

Basically, what causes bad cholesterol to remain in the body is lack of exercise and other physical activities. When you're on your butt watching TV all day long you are a good candidate for LDL increase. Get rid of unwanted cholesterol from your system by incorporating exercise to your daily activities. A good thirty to forty five minutes of an exercise routine can greatly reduce the level of bad cholesterol.

People have read the warning but they still fail to heed it. Smoking is dangerous to your health. In fact smoking has been the cause of thousands of deaths all over the world for years now. Improve your good cholesterol level by quitting this ugly habit. Not only will you save yourself, you will also save the lives of people around you.

Too much alcohol consumption has also been linked to the effectiveness of cholesterol in the human body. While alcohol is said to increase good cholesterol, it doesn't reduce bad cholesterol at all. Too much alcohol can also increase the risk for high blood pressure, liver disease and even some heart problems. You may notice the word too much but that doesn't give anyone an excuse to drink alcohol especially those who already have health problems.

Now let's proceed to what you have to feed your body in order to reduce bad cholesterol in your system. I know this is obvious but let me tell you that healthy eating is essential for staying healthy. Stick to foods that have properties that lower bad cholesterol like fruits and vegetables, and stay away from cholesterol-rich foods like fats found in pork and most poultry products.

Most importantly, try to manage stress. Stress has been known to be the cause of most chronic diseases such as heart problems, high blood pressure and stroke. This only tells us one thing: Stress is deadly. If you eliminate it, you eliminate every reason for any disease to come near you.
