If the severity of the hemorrhoids is diminished, try adding more fiber to your meals or take some form of laxative to ease the constipation. There are creams on the market that will alleviate the itching and the swelling of the hemorrhoids. This hydrocortisone cream can be used on external ones. There are also suppository choices of the cream which can be used on the external hemorrhoids. Beyond that, one of the options is to have these removed with surgery. As can be imagined, this is very painful, very uncomfortable and post-surgery infection can be experienced. Another option is surgery by laser but to use this option may require numerous treatments.

As can be seen, the options of how to get rid of hemorrhoids fast can be a painful route. In order to try and avoid the risks and discomfort that will be caused by surgery, many people choose to look for different options.
