You might have some trouble finding a book in the bookstore that is meant to help you stop snoring, but I seriously doubt that. People have done all kinds of research on the topic since man could read and write, and many of them have published their findings in books and journals. Getting your hands on any one of those might just be the relief that you need.
Men and women snore, although ladies like to make believe like it's beneath them. We all need to do something about it though, rather than point fingers, and I think the best thing you can do is to study. Once you understand the anatomy of the process, you should, be able to do things to alter its occurrence.
With the passageways in your throat refusing to let the air through, it often comes out with that rasping sound that we all know as snoring. To stop snoring therefore, you simply have to clear out those passageways. Any way you can bring that about - without hurting yourself, of course - will be welcome.
When you diaphragm is elevated, it tends to limit passageways in your respiratory system causing you to snore. This happens if you have drunk or eaten so much that your stomach is enlarged. If you watch out for such habits, you might be able to stop your snoring yet.
Chocolate, cookies, pizza, cakes; bad for snorers. Such foods are referred to as rich foods by some, but in many ways they only enrich your snoring. I believe that is one habit you'd be glad to live without.
I know nasal strips help snorers for sure. People trying to stop snoring purchase these things just about everywhere you could think of and put them on as they go to bed. Often when they wake up they find that they do not quite get as many complaints as when they sleep without them.
There is no way you are telling me you have not heard of the nasal spray. As a snorer trying to stop, you are not using that treatment because you must really not be looking to break that habit. If you did you'd have at least tried the nasal spray. A bit of a squeeze into your air passage is all you need before bed. You should snore less and less until it stops. That could be your snoring solution.
I know of one way by which you may not stop snoring. That is blaming someone else for what is happening to you, and not taking responsibility for it. That's a major thumbs down that will get you nowhere anytime soon. Take responsibility, take charge, and you can actually make it.
