Different Ways To Cure Hemorrhoids

By James Briggs

The anal and rectal areas have veins that can be the cause of hemorrhoids. The veins undergo swelling as well as inflammation. They can be very painful and itchy. They can irritate and give a general feeling of being uncomfortable.

There are methods to cure hemorrhoids when they flare. You need patience as these cures take time because they are not immediate. But this will lessen the symptoms and bring fast relief. You might have to test a few to see what is most effective for you.

1) Exercise can go a long way to curing hemorrhoids. Simply walking 30 minutes, a few days out of the week, can help cure your hemorrhoids quickly. This occurs because your blood circulates better when you perform exercise. Poor blood circulation in the veins causes hemorrhoids.

2) Fiber - Eat more fiber in your food. There is a lot of fiber in whole grain foods and vegetables. Fiber is a source of bulk and tends to soften stools. This will treat hemorrhoids a lot sooner.

3) Liquids - Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Being well hydrated will result in loose stool. This way, constipation is avoided. Hard stool triggers your hemorrhoids.

4)Watch what your eat - Avoiding some foods is helpful for preventing and managing hemorrhoids. First of all, since excessive weight can be a reason for hemorrhoids. In addition, beer and water will aggravate your hemorrhoids, as will certain other kinds of drinks. Foods with a lot of spice are also bad.

5) Hemorrhoid Cream - There are several creams available in the marketplace to treat your trouble with hemorrhoids. You should apply these ointments every time, after you use the restroom. At times it might be necessary to apply them periodically during the course of a day. They aid by providing symptom relief and reducing the inflammation of the hemorrhoid.

6) Sitz Bath - Soaking in a warm bath at a level of 3 or 4 inches is a big help. Lift your knees while sitting in the tub. Warm water facilitates an elevation of blood circulating to the inflamed region. This will also reduce swelling.

7) Icepacks - Position a sack of ice in the region of your posterior, and do this at least twice daily. These ice packs should be left on the area for about 15 - 20 minutes. Doing this helps to reduce the size of the hemorrhoids. Pain relief will also be provided.

Hemorrhoids hurt and itch as well as causing embarrassment. There is always someone available to consult when you fall ill. But you don't desire to request help for your hemorrhoids. But what is necessary for you to know is that three-fourths of all people in the United States have experienced hemorrhoids. So there isn't any reason to be ashamed. Request help from someone. Mostly likely, they have experienced this. Then you can tell others about what worked for you.

The healing therapies mentioned here are excellent. Cures listed above actually work. But what is good for one thing, isn't always good for something else. Thus it might require a few attempts before you find what works best in your case.
