Giving Up The Cigarette Habit

Everyone asks the same question: Why do you smoke? Every individual has their own reasons which can range from stress to boredom. However, the fact still remains that nicotine is addictive and you may feel helpless to break the chains of the cigarette smoking addiction.

Methods to quit smoking:

In order to quit smoking, you must first want to quit as well as be ready to quit. Just as you express reasons for smoking, you must also have reasons to quit. The first and most important reason is your health, followed by your loved ones and finally, the amount of money you could save if you quit the smoking habit.

Cold Turkey: Completely quitting altogether and using your mind as a tool to assist you in quitting. The theory is that if you see yourself as a non smoker instead of a smoker trying to quit you will succeed.

The act of quitting smoking is not an easy task. You will experience mood swings, irritability and inability to sleep, however if you know what to expect and have comprised a game plan to deal with it, you are most certainly granted a better chance at victory.
