How a Body Detox Cleanse Can Keep You Healthy

By Charles Linart

Between the time we spend on the Internet and at our gaming consoles and the time we spend in the office, it is hard to maintain a healthy body.

Email, Twitter, Blackberry, meetings, overtime -- none of these are good for us, and we spend most of our time in sedentary activities like these.

Some people rationalize their poor diet or lack of exercise by claiming to be too busy. Rationalize all you want. Our lifestyle takes a severe toll on our bodies, ranging from simple fatigue to chronic illness or terminal disease. Is there a solution? A regular body detox cleanse can certainly help.

Answer: None of the above.

But is a detox cleanse really necessary? After all, our great grandparents didn't have any fancy ways to detoxify their bodies.

Be that as it may, medical knowledge and knowledge about the body has increased exponentially in just the last few decades. For one obvious example, we now know that smoking cigarettes is bad for you and bad for those around you. We also understand that our diet has become a matter of convenience. The average American diet is off the historical chart in sugars and fat. No human beings in all of history have ever eaten as much sugar and fat as we eat. Almost everything comes precooked, even bacon, and what is not precooked is processed with chemicals. Consider all that, and it will be obvious to you how our modern diet leads to the weak state of our bodies. Nobody wants this; we just lack the time to cook and eat properly.

In addition to our food, we get a lot of environmental toxins from some seemingly innocuous sources like hair gel, lip gloss and even toothpaste. All add to the build-up of toxins in our bodies. We're like walking toxic waste dumps.

And what is not precooked is processed with chemicals and thrown in the microwave. Consider all that. It is obvious how our modern diet leads to the weak state of our bodies. Maybe we simply lack the time to cook and eat properly.

It's starting to look that way for sure!

A regular detox cleanse is not only desirable but necessary to maintain good health. That is a simple fact.

A detox cleanse is not something to fear and will not interfere with a busy schedule. It is well worth it for the increase in health, happiness and productivity.
