The Reason Why You Can Beat Cancer Survival Statistics

By Rita Dalian

Whether you think that you can, or that you cant, you are usually right -Henry Ford-

Cancer is a unique disease and the footprint of that disease changes according to your unique body and your unique environment. No two cases of cancer are exactly equal and that in itself makes a mockery of cancer survival statistics. Cancer survival statistics can be frightening, and at first glance they can induce a sense of panic.

Even if we consider cancer survival statistic a good source of what to expect, it can never be definite of what is going to happen. It can never tell what exactly will happen. Survivals and beating the statistic is never far from reach, if you have faith that you will live longer. Faith is the strongest foundation in situation like this.

The first reaction to cancer is normal. It is usually a deep sense of fear and panic, which can be followed by a sense of depression. Those people that follow that pattern are likely to prove a probability of a statistic to be correct.

It is normal to feel a sense of panic, it is just good to be afraid. But it is also the time where you should keep all the strength you have, to fight and survive. You have to believe that you can make it. You have to believe that your situation will be better than what the statistic is.

Things that you see or read about cancer survival statistics, no matter where it come from, is not a declaration that it will exactly happen to you. You are the one in control, and you can make changes if you want. It is your life, and you have to manage it.
